A clear mind with feet on the ground, how to get a better nights sleep.

Regardless of what battles you’ve fought throughout the day, it’s imperative to leave the scars of yesterday behind and embrace the light of tomorrow.


It’s no hidden story that, as women, we go through a myriad of emotions and testing situations that keep us on our toes. It doesn’t matter if it’s a CEO of a company, a loving housewife, or another blooming teen student exploring the lovely road of life. Everyone has a story. A story that drives them throughout the course of every day. But that’s a different road that we’ll navigate someday else. (The what story are you telling yourself road) Today, we talk about the baby steps toward having a healthy and bright day every day, urging us to be our absolute best selves shedding all the inhibitions and creating the life you desire!


Everyone has an end-of-the-day routine, and if you don’t, then it’s about time you do. “As what you do every day is more important than what you do once in a while”. What do we want from our day, how do we want to show up in the world? Productivity, peace, success, balance, love? We want an end to the day that leaves us contended, a safe space where we can pour all our thoughts and let go. Especially thoughts that might hinder us from getting a good night’s sleep. The right routine helps us maintain a refreshing attitude for the day ahead with a clear mind with feet on the ground running towards your best life!


· Reflect on the day you had: Reflection, not guilt or shame is a wonderful way to wrap up your day. The last hour before you call it a day is the most crucial of all. Take a glance at your list of tasks, evaluate where you stand on your goals for the day, and for every job well done, give yourself a little cheer and a pat on the back. Processing your day will prepare you to turn the fresh page, get grounded for the next one as well as create awareness around how you showed up in the world.


· Prioritize Your To-Do List for Tomorrow: Shift your energy and focus to the future. Make decisions for your future not, from the past. Make a list of the most important items so you can’t sway away from what’s non-negotiable. While it might not be what you find the most enjoyable incorporating the routine helps you get rid of the haze. And the bonus? You’ll get a better nights sleep as you won’t end up tossing and turning with to do list nightmares!


· Cleanse Your Head Space: De-cluttering your headspace before you go to bed and prepare your mind for the next day helps you leave the past baggage right where it belongs. Remove all the unwanted thoughts and other residual wishes through journaling. It can be in any form; writing down your thoughts always help, or if you are not a fan of too much writing, do a simple meditation or sometimes I even have a dance party! The key here is finding what works for you and sticking to it.


· Lighten Up and Unwind: Your mind is clear, and you can now devote the rest of the evening to yourself — joy. Enjoy a good book, a luxurious spa treatment, or a session of bed yoga; the option is yours. Put your phone away and relax without the use of technology. You will get the rest your body very much needs and deserves!


Keep your days from blending into one another if you don't have a distinct focus or purpose.

The idea is to clear, reset, and prepare for the morning in a healthy and stress-free manner.

Given yourself permission to relax, reset and remember a clear head with feet on the grounded keeps you running towards your dreams!
